When DSA Executive Director of the Downtown Somerville Alliance, asked us to help create Pride murals for the town of Somerville, we were all in. Our assignment was to design a large art installation that was exciting and educational to benefit the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset’s Babs Siperstein PROUD Center. The result was the creation of four incredible murals that told compelling stories about people from the LGBTQ+ community who’ve made great contributions to our lives—in the arts, sciences, education and more. The murals were on display for the months of June and July at the corner of Division Street and Main Street in Somerville, New Jersey.
